Praying Mantis Living Juvenile - Carolina

Carolina juvenile mantises should be available late February 2025

The Carolina mantis (Stagmomantis carolina) reaches 2 - 2.5 inches when full grown and ranges in color from dusty gray to brown and green. Please note that we cannot accommodate color requests. The Carolina is native to the United States and lives in a large part of the country. Like the Chinese, this mantis is also widely used as a form of biological pest control in the garden. We also offer the Chinese juveniles.

If you are keeping these as pets, please have food on hand when your new pets arrive. They are voracious eaters! For these juveniles, we recommend the flightless fruit flies along with other supplements such as silkworms. We sell both items.

Our juveniles are typically L2 - L4, meaning they have molted 1-3 times.

We will send you 2 praying mantises for each 1 you order. In case one dies during shipment, you'll still have the one you ordered. Both most always make it, so you'll have double the fun!
